    Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox Statues

    Bemidji claims to be the birthplace of the mythical, yet legendary character, Paul Bunyan. These two statues have become a major tourist attraction and are located on the shores of Lake Bemidji. The Paul Bunyan statue stands 18-feet tall and weights two-and-a-half tons.
